SouthernSearch is the public version of the library "platform." It includes the library catalog, a "discovery layer" which searches databases as well as the catalog, and account features like checking your library account for due dates and fines, saving resources, and requesting items from the other libraries in the CT State Colleges and Universities consortium (CSUs, Community Colleges, Charter Oak, and the State Library.) We call our library catalog "SouthernSearch."

You might also hear library staff mention Alma or Primo. Alma is the staff end of the platform and Primo is the software behind SouthernSearch. Both are from the company Ex Libris.
