Q. How do I search for a book in the catalog?

From the Library Homepage, use the SouthernSearch search box and select SCSU Catalog (Books & Collections) from the dropdown menu. Enter the title, author, or keywords for the book(s) you are looking for. On the results page, use the left hand menus to limit your search:

• Books (under Resource Types) will limit to books, ebooks, reports, etc.
• Available at SCSU will get you only items with a physical location (like a book on the shelf)
• Location lets you select a particular collection (like Reference, or Main Circulating Stacks)
• You can also select authors, dates, and language for most searches.

You can also go to the Advanced Search and search by Title or Author (or other options).
