Q. How do you place materials on course reserves?

The Buley Library offers print and electronic course reserves for Southern faculty.

To place materials on reserve:

• Pick up a reserve request form at the Check Out Desk
• Complete the Print Reserve Form and submit it to the library
• Complete the Electronic Reserve Form and submit it to the library

Be sure to include:

1. Your name
2. Course information
3. Whether you want the materials available in print, electronic, or both formats

Electronic course reserves are available through SouthernSearch.

Copyright Compliance: All material submitted to our Reserve Services may be protected by U.S. Copyright Law (Title 17, U.S. Code) which governs reproduction, distribution, public display and certain other uses of protected works. We may refuse to put scanned articles, book chapters, and the like on reserve if we feel it violates copyright. All submitted material should be used solely for instruction purposes and follow the Fair Use Provisions.
