It's really a matter of what order the information goes in and exactly how it's formatted. Those differences exist because of the norms of various disciplines and what information they think is most important to see at a glance. You'll probably use a variety of citation formats in your various classes, so it's just a matter of getting comfortable with what each one is supposed to look like.
