Online dictionaries are available in Oxford Reference Online and Credo Reference

The Oxford English Dictionary is online and in print (Reference 1st floor PE1625.O87 1989  v.1-20).

Hard copies of English language dictionaries are available on the first floor in the Reference Collection at call number PE1628. You can use those anywhere in the building, but you can't check them out. There are a few available on the 3rd floor at the same call number which you can check out.

Search for foreign language dictionaries in hard copy and online using SouthernSearch by searching for "[language] dictionary", for instance "spanish dictionary" or "italian dictionary". Do the same for dictionaries of subject terminology, such as "sociology dictionary" or "geology dictionary".
