SouthernSearch is a great place to start your research. Here's what you will and won't find:

Books @ SCSU

SouthernSearch includes print books in Buley Library. Use the CT State Colleges and Universities search option after entering your search terms and SouthernSearch includes print books from the campuses of CT State College and the other CSUs (Central, Eastern, Western), plus the State Library.

Books @ CSCU Libraries

When using the CT State Colleges and Universities search scope, SouthernSearch includes print books from the campuses of CT State College and the other CSUs (Central, Eastern, Western), plus the State Library.

Ebooks @ SCSU

SouthernSearch includes ebooks from over 30 ebook collections.

Reserves @ SCSU

To search items kept on reserve at the library, select the Course Reserves option after entering your search terms.

Many (but not all) journal, magazine and newspaper articles are available through SouthernSearch. If you are off campus, sign in to see additional results. For individual databases, which are often better suited to advanced research, consult the library's A-Z list of databases or research guides.

Dissertations @ SCSU and Beyond

SouthernSearch includes dissertations from SCSU and many other universities. You may also wish to search SCSU Dissertations and Theses, and Dissertations & Theses Global

Books @ Other Libraries

Use WorldCat to search for books at thousands of libraries worldwide. Request items using the "Request through Interlibrary Loan" feature.
